Norma Jean has over 30 years of tax experience, including all forms of personal and business taxes, employment taxes, and trust and estate taxes.  Her first position was in the audit division of the Internal Revenue Service.  Upon leaving the IRS, she received her Enrolled Agent License (Tax Expert in all areas of tax, equivalent to a CPA or attorney in the area of taxes) and developed her own business of tax preparation.  She develops long term relationships with her clients, some lasting over 25 years.  Her tax business is part of her retirement plan and she intends to continue it until she is physically or mentally unable to do so. (Her father worked into his mid 80's.)  Norma Jean graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, MN with an economics major and a math minor.  She was active in all the forms of choral music the college had to offer.  She remains active in alumni activities.  Norma Jean is active in Rotary (past president of the Fridley-Columbia Heights Rotary Club), the MN Association of Enrolled Agents, the National Society of Tax Professionals and the National Association of Professional Women.  She is active in philanthropy in the areas of education, child welfare, the environment and the arts.  Norma Jean was raised in Iowa and California and fell in love with Minnesota while in college and has been here ever since.  She is married with 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren, whom she dotes on.  Her husband is a semi-retired orchestra conductor.
